Hi.

I have a Acuson X300 power supply problem.
When i try to power up the system two situations occur:

1. The leds OCP and AC light up and the system doesn´t boot up

2. The led FANS lights up and the system doesn´t boot up

Most of the time point 2 occurs when i try to boot up the system.

Best regards

Paulo

Hello Paulo,

Have you tried measuring the power supply outputs? If they are low or missing, try pulling out each board in the card cage to see if one is causing the power supply to crowbar.

If that doesn't help, I would try replacing the supply.

Regards,

Hello Chris

Regarding the X300 power supply, i found the DC/DC power supply with problems, causing the leds on the USPA-AC power supply to light up. Having repaired the DC/DC power supply, on power up the system hangs on the message "Checking system configurations.." All the voltage tests are O.K.

What could be the problem?

Best regards

Hi Paulo,

It sounds like either the operating software has been corrupted or a board is now bad due to the power supply issue.

I would re-load software first. After that if you still have an issue, reseat all the boards in the card cage one by one to see if the error message goes away. If that does not correct the issue, try booting the system with a minimum configuration as outlined in the service manual.

Best regards,

Hi Chris

Thanks for your rapid response to my issue.
I have re-loaded the software, but still stuck on message "Checking system configurations".
I don´t have the service manual, could you please indicate `to me which boards are needed for minimum configuration?

Regards

Hi Paulo,

Unfortunately, I do not have the service manual for the X300, otherwise I would gladly supply you with that information.

Best regards,

Chris
