We have three GE Logiq 7 Pro with problems.

On one Logiq 7 Pro (serial number 11589YU9) nothing works on the operator panel.
Cuold it be the I/F Board Assy?

On the other two (same version as the above) the specific function keys are not working properly (sometimes they do not work).
Could it be the SW board Assy?

Best regards

Hello Paulo,

On the system where nothing at all works on the operator panel - I would re-seat all the cables on the operator interface assembly and verify all power supplies are within specifications. If you are still unable to get it work, I would isolate sections of the operator interface assembly by removing the cables from them to the I/F Board Assy one section at a time - (LCD UNIT, ROTARY ENCODER ASSY, TRACKBALL ASSY, TGC ASSY, A/N KBD ASSY, SW BOARD ASSY) - to see if one of those boards are causing the I/F Board to lose communication via USB with the BEP. If that does not offer any direction - it is quite possible that either the I/F Board is bad or the BEP has an issue with USB communications. Try a different USB port on the BEP. Finally, if possible, a quick way to find out if the issue is with the BEP or the Operator Interface Assy, is to swap the entire Operator Interface with one of the other two LOGIQ 7's that you have available to you.

On the other two systems that have intermittent issues with the function keys, I would try removing the SW BOARD ASSY to see if any gel or dirt may be causing the issue first. If everything looks ok, I would replace the SW BOARD ASSY.

Regards,

Chris
