I have a Philips IU22 that keeps on displaying a banner that the unit has detected a duplicate ip address on the network. I have confirmed that the address assigned to the IU22 is definitely unique yet I still get the error banner. Any clues on how to fix the problem?

I am having the exact same error. Since this thread is a bit old, I hopefully can assume that you found a solution to the problem. Can you please offer me some advice on what to do about the duplicate ip address on the network of the iu22? I'm hoping that this isn't a fatal error because I would hate to purchase a new one.

Hello,
 
Even though an IP address can be reserved, it does not mean that it will be reserved to a specific machine hardware unless you can supply the MAC address to your Network Admin and they specifically set aside an IP address for your system.
 
I would suggest asking your Network Admin for a bank of unused or reserved IP addresses. Keep trying each one until successful. This is the best approach unless you can supply the MAC address of your scanner to your Network Admin.
